Yeasin Ahmead serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning (URP) at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), where he also earned his Bachelor of Urban & Regional Planning (BURP) degree in 2018. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Urban & Regional Planning (MURP) program in the same department at RUET.

Prior to joining academia at RUET, Yeasin served as an Assistant Urban Planner at Sheltech Consultant Pvt. Ltd. from March 2024. During the tenure, he contributed to several planning projects, including the "Finalization of the Master Plan of Elenga and Basail Pourashava (2024–2044) in Tangail District" under the IIPT10P project and the "Upazila Town (Non-Municipal) Master Plan Preparation and Basic Infrastructure Development Project" (Package No.: UTMIDP/UMPP-1; Atpara and Mithamoin Upazilas), initiated by the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under the Ministry of Local Government. He also coordinated the "Master Plan Preparation Support for Government Shrimp Estate, Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar" under the Sustainable Coastal and Marine Fisheries Project (SCMFP), supported by the Department of Fisheries (DoF) and The World Bank.

Yeasin is an affiliated Associate Member (AM-2333) of the Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP). His academic and professional interests include environmental planning and disaster management, climate change and the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing in urban and spatial planning.
