Lecturer
Making air cleaner, water safer, and healthcare more accessible through chemical engineering and biotechnology inspires my work. After earning my B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), I worked as a Research Officer at icddr,b, contributing to reducing emissions from 32 brick kilns in the Jashore and Khulna regions. During my graduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), USA, my research focused on enzyme engineering, biocatalysis, and drug development. My long-term goal is to leverage biotechnology to develop renewable energy systems from locally available feedstocks, advancing national energy security.
